For some reason I got a random thought that Cemetech should host an unofficial "Stupid Novice (n00b) Of The Year" award, from all the n00bs at ticalc. From now till December 16th you may post nominations in this topic and on the 17th I will start the SNOTY elections. Try to restrain yourself, though, this isn't meant to be offensive. _________________ Allergic to morons? Don't click here. >(v')

My nomination goes to Peter Cheng. So far this amazing programmer has accomplished the work of art that isCleanup. And who could forget the classic Guess05 a guess the number game that only takes up 4kb. _________________

Wow I just found this. Check out the description for MindReader. So that's a nomination for George Washington email: ihavenothingbettertodo@gmail.com
Edit: Oh and it looks like Sam Hund found out how type formulas into his calculator. I really need something to do the equivalent of (Y2-Y1)/(X2-X1). And somehow this takes 500bytes? _________________

Alls I can say about Mindreader is WOW. That has to be one of the most unilaterally stupid ideas for a program I have ever heard. Not only that, but it's filed as a Flash App?! What is this kid thinking?! _________________

Yes, I find it hard to believe that someone with knowledge of how to make flash applications could write such crap. _________________

or for making me at Rivereye Studios program for him, my programs are the property of Rivereye Studios, and that is that, unless it is a join project, like Uno with jon, then he will be an owner also _________________ I am the eye of the river

Actually the first person's program mentioned has great use. In BASIC programing this can allow for better saving of data. Example: In my first BASIC blackjack program I had a save feature. To do that though I need to either keep the save lists in ram or force the user to put them on the calculator when he puts the program on so I can archive and unarchive because if you try to unarchive a list at the beginning of a program and it doesn't exist you will get a problem. I thought it was very usefull. Anyone with me? _________________

I guess, you could also ask why someone would want a program that could unarchive and archive programs, being the memory menu does it. _________________ I am the eye of the river

He counts as a double-n00b. You can nominate him twice. _________________ Allergic to morons? Don't click here. >(v')

Fair enough. Consider him double-nominated then. _________________
